Konjou to survive

Well well.

How it can be translated "Konjou" to another language?

A most of Japanese love to use this word when they want to express how to get over from something so hard to do.

Many time, absolutely, it is not logical but makes a sense for Japanese people.

When Samurai was playing football seriously, he had never liked this word because it was not logical for him neither scientific, however, in today, he feels that indeed when a player on the corner under a high pressure or needed to reverse a game it must be required in order to use all the physical power, energy and spirit that you have at the moment beyond the all modern medical technology support.

In the fight against disease is also the same or Konjou is demanded much more than any kind of sports because your life is in risk and not the kind of joke.

In Samurai's case is no longer on count of modern medicine because there's no way to apply any kind of positive treatment due to the lowest physical condition caused by transplant and chemo sequelas.

So, how can we survive!?

Only keeping his spirit and Konjou in the high gear. This is the only hope and way to keep him alive for the moment. And provably he doesn't need those medical treatment any more.

Japanese Konjou is not logical neither scientific but it works more than chemo therapy and a transplant depend on the cases, according to his own experience of surviving.

We love snow anyway

The snow makes us animated despite it is disastrous sometimes.

In the Kani-city where we live also have been covered by snow such as beautiful cotton and our neighbour had started to remove it from our tiny street without necessity of his emergent service... we wanted to enojoy more to see it... but he loves to do it every year like a child...lol

The Brazilian Artist Lúcia was looking at his neighbour´s volunteer clean-up sevrice through the window and became disappointed because he was destroying her art resource...

In any case, it is sure that people love snow.

After all, Lúcia´s art had been done. Little bit different from which we used to make here in Japan, however, she has another viewpoint and sense of art to please us.

How good to stay at home

After 1 week Samurai left the hospital, he has been enjoying and realaxing at his castle as he always hoped.

January 12, on the first consultation after said ADEUS for the hospital, the blood exam and the X ray were also clean!! So he is allowed to keep staying at home!! Yeeeeeeeeesssss!!!

Even so, there's no too much things to he does, he is dedicating for The First Trasnplant Football Festival held on Sat. February 12 in Nagoya. And alos our Football Club's website http://transplantfootbal.com/ is becmonig cool!! Preparing for 4 languages and it will be constantly uploaded in near future.

The Trasnplant Football Club hopes more people comprehend and recognize its intention and promot it for whole world in order to give encourage for fight against disease and also to keep a hope on patient's mind to get over from the severe treatment.

By the way, from today, Samurai has been stepping into the kichen where he loves to stay trying to put everyhing under his control there...lol

Today's lunch menu was so simple and very healthy:

- Brazilian beans Carioquinha prepared by Samurai

- Rice mixed Black Rice from Okinawa

- Grilled sardine (half dry)

- Sunny-side up egg

- Tomato salad

And after we ate up all, no claim and very satisfied.

Back to the real world

Finally, Samurai is home after 1 year and 8 months of rigorous fight.

When he went into the outside of the hospital, the first noise he listened was the shisper of the tiny bird. It made him feel that he was really coming back to the real world which all of us always had desired durig the treatment at hospital.

In the middle of the path to home, he saw and felt a true nature over car window defferent from that he used to watched through T.V. inside the jail. They have aroma sent by wind and give us amazing energy that neither advanced tecnological equipment can do it yet.

The due day was came which we always wished night and day. It means that he still has mission to accomplish in this life. It might be early to say that he is cured 100%, but it is sure that he has has maintained on his mind the will and purposes to be realized them, so in fact to try out on it, he believes that his vaitality gets more reinforced naturally.

Once again, thanks a lot for those who constantly send us kindness messages to made us reach where we are today although we don't know how to express well gratitude.

However, this is the only a one of big turning poits to be passed and our life is still to be continued for long long time.

Happy new year from survivor

SAMURAI'S 2011 has also begun by the grace of all his tender famliy and friends who suppororted him during the past 2 years.

ALTHOUGH his complicated incident happend in the end of the 2010 which did not allow him go home now he is showing a better recovery from it after all.

THE time doesn't stop and we never know how long we take to get the final station of the of each one of us. That's why let us take chance to be bigger, stronger, happier and whatever we want to be as human being, setting nice purposes and good planning. This way we can realize anything we desire as well as Samurai could beat his enemy.

THIS year definitely must be better than ever for Samurai, his famliy and for all friends, without doubt. Problems will be to be resolved and let us always keep our spirit high and positive mind in order to resist any kind of blow.

SAMURAI hopes that in the 2011 all people in his mind have a greatest year enjoying your proper life and contribuiting to the society and community as well as possible, and as well as you had saved the Samurai from his hardest battle, milaculously.

Early Christmas gift!! (private room)

The best environment for Samurai to concentrate on his treatment without any stress!!

The group room he was so stresfull and many times it disturbs inpatient's recovery psycological and mentally more than we imagine.

Samurai couldn't caugh at night even being inside the hospital because one of the heartless man on same room complained about its noise... what a fxxx'n old man... but this old man was cut by Samurai's sword sharply enough finally... poor old man... lol

However, Samurai could be transferd luckily to the private room thanks for this old man's insensitive behavior, so now, Samurai is thinking on his next projects get roll.

The low breathing capacity caused by transplant aftereffect, damaged liver and pneumonia have still been issues impeding his sharp recovery even for take a wheel chair out of him, but he is still alive looking forward to the Special Christmas Foods.

His doctor had said that Samurai should not resist to pass the end of 2010, yet, it was only for threat us...

A miracle is always available for everyone.

Kyoto Akatsuki F.C.

Samurai is home again!!

A fine foods of chief Lucia and relaxing time at home on weekend, after 3 months of stressful life in the group room in the hospital. This time Samurai saw the real war in the hospital.

Yesterday, Samurai receive the visitors from Kyoto who had played together since he was child. They brought a kit of presents, soccer game shirt based on the original shirt of Kyoto Akatsuki F.C. with his name, super modern spike looked designed by NASA definitely can produce a umbelivable free kick such like of Cristiano Ronaldo. The cap with 5 stars of World Champion canary yellow a soul of Brazil!!

Sorry for no up load all presents Samurai received so far, but talking to his health condition, they will be up loaded as soon as possible.

All kindness that Samurai recevied will be returned by his come back.

Once again, thank you very much for your unforgetable kindness.

Diamond cuts Diamonds

This is the 4th weekend that Samurai spends out of the jail although the new problems transformed from the origin Leukemia.

The first one is the high cholesterol and the second is the breath difficulty (dyspnea). But both have been under control as possible by medicine, the reeducation of alimentation, the breathing rehabilitation and the chest stretching.

The cholesterol problem he supposed to be caused by the steroid's side effect and by the damaged liver which unable to metabolize it normaly, because even within low cholesterol meal it doesn't get better and neither using a medicine for it. While the steroid is applied the problem won't be resolved and Samurai has been feeling so stressed because his doctor asked him to get better control of meal by himself to help, too...but the Dr. still doesn't know what exacly the cuase is...lol

During the treatment, the happiest moment for Samurai was only the moment to eat, however, if you take it out from him and he can't eat what he likes to eat, these moments could turn to be the most unhappiest moment and acttualy they have been very hard eating the monk's food (hospital food) for more than 5 months 3 times a day..

If even with the medicine it does't get better, let's try to see what happen ignoring a little about the problem.

So, today, Samurai kicked his ass and tried again the Brazilian Grilled Chickin without eats its skin that contained high cholesterol, just for feel more comfortable and less stress.

Diamond cuts diamonds... let him be aggresive in order not to give any chance to the enemy.

In Japan, the automn is coming up and its soft breeze makes us more relaxed and motivated to

do new challenges and activities.

Dear my friend, Mr. Arturo

There're days that we say "Hi, nice to meet you!!" and one day we face to a day that we have to say "goodbye" Come and go ... all kind of disease could be like this relation...but unfortunately not.

Well, this week my co-fighter Mr. Arturo went home...home to Machupicchu...ops. to Lima. After almost 2 years of his fight in Japan, he decided to leave Japan and continues his treatment in Peru with big support of his family. It might be better for him in all terms especially psycological, than he tries here in Japan with different culture and mentality, even inside a hospital. It is definitely so important to creat a better enviroment to fight against disease by ourselves to get better result. We need a better conditioning like when we climb mountain or practice sports. Good tools, psycological and mental preparation can save our lives.

Arturo, Samurai wishes your good recovery and good luck for your future.

After we said "goodbye" we said "see you, again!!", too, right!?

And finally we have to say "adeus!!" for the disease for forever!!

Home again

He is home again!

From the last week, Samurai is allowed to go home for spend a weekend out of the jail to refresh his brain. Whole week days in the hospital he only thinks about the menu for the weekend according to what he is allowed to eat because of his problem on the liver and high cholesterol. And also, hospital's meal are not so easy to have more than 1 or 2 months although we can't complain knowing that there's a lot of people live without food neither clean water in this world. However, we are very sorry but it is not easy for a patient who stay long period in the hospital...

So, that's why Samurai gets crazy to eat some "usual food" at least when he is out of the jail, however, he has to check nutrients of all food he would eat because of those problems.

He was crazy to get some Brazilian BBQ, Spar Ribs and Grilled Chiken but too high fat and cholesterol ...shit... So, basically, he is adapting to have only seafood, seaweed and delivery food from soy beans and vegetables. Quit healthy, isn't it!? Why don't you change your allimentation like Samurai before you get sick!? It is good sign to review your life style when you feel that your berry got started to disturb your mind!! Be carefull, hungovers! lol.

Well, now he got his tank filled so it's time to get some siesta such a cow...lol this is a tiny happy moment of our life...

A good sign!!

After 4 months, Samurai felt autumn wind out of the jail looking at the beautiful blue and red gradation of the Sataurday's evening sky in front of his house. The old house filled of problems in machinaries and in a lot of its parts but his house can't be changed to any other for him to relax and feel his place with his family. However, he needed to back to the jail on Saunday evening to keeps his treatment during this week.

Instead of the hard fight and miracle recovery from the last penumonia, now he is expecting a unbelivable rseult of DNA exam this week.

Today, he had to change from the private room for the group one, so he was disappointed at that moment when the nurse asked him, but at the next moment, he knew that this means that it doesn't take so long to get him out from the jail.

Looking forward for the exam result and the day he can leave here...

Lucia's birthday

2 years ago, the birthday party on their ragged second hand home in Kani-ciry celebrated only between them was so full of expectation, hopes and plan in future with a first lovely dog "Natsu".

It was commemorated Lucia's birthday yesterday on the hospital with much more expectation, hopes and delayed life plan than two years ago. Although this time the party was very simple in the Samurai's sickroom only with a piece of cake for each one of them it was filled of happiness.

Getting old and needed a little of shape up... but her beauty is getting more elegant.

Thanks you very very much for you take care about him being standing by his side physically and spiritually.

Samurai's birthplace

Samurai's co-fighter visited Kyoto last weekend and he also visited Samurai's mom cafeteria, in place of him!! Samurai felt a deep jealous for their trip...lol

Although, Samurai's mom visits him every Thursday in the hospital it is so different from he goes and feel his birthplace by himself, you know it!!

However, according to the recent exam result and the level of spirit he keeps on his mind, his homecoming seems wouldn't take so long.

It's a miracle!!

Although, yesterday was the 1 st anniversary of Samurai after his first reborn by the first transplant last year the hardest battle during the year today he got the surprising notice from his doctor!

The bone marrow exam was made yesterday and diagnosed by microscope brought the result with no one of malignant cells anymore. It is miracle!! But it means complete cure!? Calm down, not yet...

Samurai has a DNA problem, too, and it takes about 2 weeks to be known about this result and to be called "be cured" this DNA problem must be resolved, too. But anyway, it sounds that things are going on a positive way.

At the same time, his family says to him "still not cured, so take it easy!" but he is not a kind of guy like "cross a stone bridge knocking" you know. While we are feeling the battle is on our pace, we have to use 120% of power to defeat the enemy, and to fly higher. If not, you will never defeat enemy classfied upper than you.

He has to wait for the result of DNA exam but he and his wife have been already commemorated his anniverary and a possibility of the miracle complete cure.

Tomorrow his wife will get the Brazilian Style Grilled Chicken for our lunch!! Huuuuuum, can't wait for!!

And today, his Peruvian Co-fighter of leukemia brought a Lazania made by himself for Samraui's dinner which he had made a promise that he would cook it for us one day. It was so nice!! Que rica!! And Samurai felt alive!! lol Big thanks!!

In place of chicken it could be a Grilled Duck to fly higher!!

Motorcycle phile!!

In the elevator, Samurai saw the guy with helmet for mortorcycle on his hand to visit someone in this hospital today.

Ahhhhhhh, he made Samurai wants to get his motorcyle and feel wind again!! And additinally, there's a one of his friend who is super philiac for the motorcyle and he always telling Samurai about his motorcyle journey and races he joins to!! These are making him crazy to get whatever seems like helmet even for ride his wheel chair to go up and down inside the hospital!! lol

Well, for who is fan of motorcycle, there's no how to express how we feel energized when we are putting on a helmet even in the hottest summer, isn't there!?

Say goodbye for the pneumonia!!

Reading the my sister's diary on her mixi, my doctor had said that Samurai's remaining days were just about 1 month if the medicine shouldn't work when he got the pneumonia this time...

Obviously, he can imagine that whole his famliy was very afraid of it and they could have asked estimations of funeral in the worst case, acctually... hahahaha One month is enough to find out the economy plan of funeral...lol


But the Samurai has been amazingly recovered from the fucking pneumonia and still alive powerfuly!! This was the second time he suffered by complications during his leukemia's treatment, plus, those doctors always notify cruel notices to his famliy.

So, the Samurai still doesn't know whether his vitality is too powerful or the God doesn't want him on his place. It could mean that it is not the time to he goes, yet, unless he desires.


It has been passed already 1 year and 4 motnhs that he has been in the jail, but still he keeps his spirit high with a lot of hopes given by his family and a lot of friends even passing these boring days in inside the fence.

The Samurai's book launch by Volunteer Group!

The week of concerned fight has begun from last Monday with chemotherapy which must concern a lot about Samurai’s liver. The side effect is very strong especially to this part of body and index number of the liver is getting high gradually every each day.

However, there’s no special symptom at least today. It sounds good!!

While his fighting without interval, the Volunteer Group of Publication of his book got started their activitiy lsat Sunday fowarding to launch the “Diary of fight against disease” (the real title will be different) . However, he wrote focus on how he has been trying to get over this most difficult situation on his life in place to write about said story because usually these sort of book are publishes after patient die and wrote about sadly battle they had passed by their family or after patient gets better.

And also, he always thought the most of those contents passes us patients very negative images takes away from us the gas we need to challenge and fight at the moment to surviving, indeed.

That’s why Samurai wants to write it during his fight and give some example of how he has been trying to face it glancing the true fact of die beside of him, and so, at the same time he wants other patients who suffering the same kind of disease or people who in the difficult situation, for example, on business, family and parents or at school problem discover the power to get over the such each difficulties. Because many time, what we suffer with disease is same to other kinds problems “in term of difficulty” in level of suffering if we compare with.

And now he would really appreciate to the initiative of Mr. Harada who caught Samurai’s enthusiasm to write the book and invited Mr. Richard, Mr. Ryoichi and Prof. Yoshi in order to the activity gets much quickness and efficiency.

Thank you very very much for all of your kindness and cooperation and wish we could take the published book on our hand to enthusiasm others who is about to loose its hope for live.

imagine there's no country...

There are a lot of people who Samurai really wants to encounter shaking your hand to say “thanks a lot for your help!” but unfortunately it’s not a possible for a while because now he has been in the jail again since from the last Tuesday…





Although apologetically being late, but Samurai would like to really thank for about 40 participants from 8 different countries to the charity dinner at Mehemet place in Hamamatsu end of last February, dedicated to encouraging Samurai, mainly organized by the owner of the restaurant Mehemet, Mariana, Brian and Osny. And also thanks for the all encouraging messages wrote in three different languages. Samurai hasn’t met before almost of them but their dedication and kind messages gave him incredible energy in order to he passes through from his fated path. Even if it has not been easy these power sent to him from every deep of your heart has been turned to his gas to keep in fight against.





When we receive encouragement from someone, it doesn’t matter who send you because we know that it is coming from your heart and not from your head. And when Samurai got the mail on his hand from Mariana contained these messages, he didn’t know first to cry or opened the envelope, and then, when he started to read them the music got started to play “ imagine there’s no country…”


So, thanks for all of you in Hamamatsu!!

A happy anniversary!!

A happy 1st anniversary for my enemy!

Samurai fights against him to beat him but the same time he learns a lot of things that without this enemy he might haven’t learned. So now, he isn’t sure that the enemy could be considered as real enemy in stead of it could be his big competitor or educator.

To be strong, be patient, be courageous, discovered the missions and recognition of importance of family and his friends were all brought from this disease.

He might know to live together like a partner with this disease as one of his friend told before…he was right and now Samurai understands meaning of him.

But at the certain moment, Samurai has to say goodbye to this enemy to no longer keep the partnership and he has to remember and thank for the fruitage the educator brought to him like two boxers on the ring appreciate and hug each other after a fight.

I can’t wait for this moment arrives…
